CROWN AND BRIDGES
Dental Crowns are caps that cover teeth that are weak because of root canals, large restorations, broken cusps, and fractured teeth. These Crowns are named” fixed dental prostheses” because they are cemented permanently on the teeth and are used to protect and support the remaining tooth structure.
Dental Crowns are fabricated in the laboratory and are made of porcelain, metal, or porcelain-fused-to-metal.
A Dental Bridge is also a fixed prosthodontic device that is replacing one or more missing teeth and is cemented permanently on the adjacent natural existing teeth.
A Dental Bridge is also fabricated in the laboratory and it could be made from porcelain, metal, or porcelain-fused-to-metal.
